How to Prequalify Online

Shopping for a new home is exciting! But going through the logistics of prequalifying for a mortgage can be less exciting and potentially stressful. We’ve simplified our mortgage application process to make the experience just as enjoyable as finding your dream home. Our robust online application hub gives you a clear path from prequalification to closing. It also keeps you aware of the loan status at all times.

We’ve put together a step-by-step walkthrough of what to expect during the online application in the following guide.

Step #1:

Visit the Prequalification Page

You’ll find a link to the prequalification page on the top right of our website in blue. Choose a loan officer to work with, and you can get started!

Step #2:

Create an Account

Create a username and password for your account to begin your application. Creating an account is necessary for us to secure the personal data you enter.

You’ll see a green checkmark appear when the username and password you select meets the required security conditions. Next, you must read and agree to our terms and conditions.

Step #3:

Enter the Application Hub

Completing the initial sign up form will take you to the loan application hub. The application hub gives you a list of tasks to work through to complete the application.

The first task is entering preliminary information about yourself such as your name, current address, and whether you’re buying a new home or refinancing.

The next few tasks are related to your finances. First, you need to add your assets to the application.

For your convenience, you can select your financial institution and input your credentials to have the account details imported into the application.

Step #6:

Notify Us of Special Circumstances

The Declarations step is where you’ll let us know of any unique situations that will impact your application such as having experienced a bankruptcy or foreclosure in the last seven years.

This step is also where you will report if you pay child support and if you’re borrowing money for your down payment.

Step #7:

Tell Us More About the Loan You Need

You are close to the end when it’s time to answer questions about your citizenship status and the home you’re purchasing or refinancing.

The last stage before consenting to submit the application form is answering questions about demographics. You can choose to opt-out of the questions in this survey if you prefer not to answer.
